General FAQ.

  • When you decide to book, I’ll ask you to provide the necessary information so we can finalize our contract. You will be able to review it and sign it online.

    There is a 50% retainer fee to secure the booking. The remaining balance is due one week before the wedding.

  • I’d love to meet before the wedding! If you live in Ottawa, I’d love to grab coffee and say hi! Otherwise I’d love to setup a video chat to go over details and say hello.

  • Absolutely! The package includes up to 80km travel from downtown Ottawa. Outside of the 80km, there is a travel fee of $1.00 per 1km.

  • I use modern flagship Fujifilm cameras to capture both photos and videos. Prime lenses are used to shoot photos and a mix of prime & zoom lenses are used to shoot videos.

    For shooting film photos, I use a Nikon FM3A with a mix of 35mm F2 and 50mm F1.2 prime lenses.

Photos FAQ.

  • Documentary style to capture the candid and natural moments. Filmic look with the warmer tones in colour to highlight the feeling of adventure and nostalgia. Combining these characteristics create artistic, modern yet a timeless look in capturing your emotions.

  • If you want additional hours of coverage, it would be $250 per hour for additional coverage for photo or filming or $400 per hour for the photo + film package.

  • Yes! We can discuss and tailor my offerings to meet your needs.

  • Absolutely! Both photos and film editing are done by me.

  • Yes! I look forward to collaborating with other creatives on your special day.

  • I am the solo photographer but a second photographer is available as an add-on.

    Advantages of having a second photographer include multiple angles of ceremony, more photos for guests, and more candid photos. Please feel free to discuss with me on whether you think you should hire a second photographer or not.

  • Your online wedding gallery will be ready within 4-10 weeks.

  • Once your photos are ready, I will send you a link to your email with a link to your very own secure online wedding gallery. In your online wedding gallery, you can download your photos and also share the gallery for viewing to your family and friends.

  • Absolutely! Let me know if you’re looking to have some of your photos taken on film. B&W and colour film photography is an additional add-on of $100 per roll.

  • You have the option to purchase the RAW/lossless format images.

    Only the raw format versions of the photos that form the final delivery of images will be available, and not of every photo captured during your wedding.

  • Absolutely! You can order various types and sizes of prints and a photo album from your online gallery.

  • You will receive your sneak peek gallery within 5-15 days after your wedding. The sneak peek gallery will have 10-20 edited photos.

Film FAQ.

  • Cinematic style filmmaking to convey the feeling and atmosphere of your entire wedding day. I use videos, songs and audio captured throughout the day that mesh well together to create emotion driven films.

  • Absolutely! I can curate you a short 15-20 second long highlight video as well as your full highlight video for social media usage.

  • The videos are recorded in max resolution of 6.2K and edited in 4K resolution.

  • I use a combination of lav microphones, shotgun mics, and taking audio feed from the DJ sound mixer.

  • Absolutely! Both photos and film editing are done by me.

  • You have the option to purchase the unedited video files.

    Keep in mind that the videos are recorded in up to 6.2K resolution. This means that you will need a hard drive space with lots of gigabytes/terabytes.

  • If you need additional hours of coverage, it would be $250 per hour for additional coverage.

  • Yes! I look forward to collaborating with other creatives on your special day.

  • Music is an important piece to the puzzle that ties the narrative and visuals together. Often a song that you and I think would be perfect may not quite end up working out.

    I use MusicBed, a music licensing service that showcases incredible emerging artists. All the music that you hear from my films are from MusicBed.

    Having said all that, I would love to hear your idea and collaborate. You can browse MusicBed and send a list of tracks you like. I ask that you allow me to make the final call.
